1931 Chevrolet Independence Roadster R 280 000
For enquiries contact Jimmy on 081 325 1507. In 1929, the American stock market crashed, setting in motion the Great Depression covering the period October, 1929 to when it abated in late 1930. Everything went into decline including the car market where Fords output dropped by almost two-thirds. Chevrolet fared only slightly better, but enough to reclaim first place in the American car sale market. The Chevrolet Independence was manufactured in 1931 when a number of styles were built, but only 23 000 cabriolets. Powered by a 6 cylinder engine, this vehicle could reach a top speed of 85 mph (136.8 km/h). Fitted with big headlamps and spoked wheels which were the order of the day, this lovely model is in good condition and would be a great addition to any collection.
TRIM BODY STYLE: 2 Door Roadster
